Actor Vikram’s Saamy Square is out in maximum screens today. The Saamy sequel, directed by Hari, features Vikram in double role. Speaking about the film, Vikram, says, ‘I always shared a great rapport with director Hari. Saamy revolved around a bravado cop. It was the biggest commercial entertainer in my career. now comes the sequel Saamy square and it will be no different.
We have made sure it is more racy and engaging. Hari is so fast in shooting tough sequences with perfection and hence I always call him filmmaker ‘Hurry’. Though the sequel has come after 15 years, audience will not lose connect. It is neither a replica of Saamy nor will have shades of Singam.
Asked about his forthcoming films, he says, ‘Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram is nearing completion. It will see me play a suave agent, who is on the run for revenge.
I am part of Kamal Haasan’s production, which is directed by Rajesh M Selva. Then I would be working on the mega venture Karnan’.
