Vijay fans celebrate Simtaangaran, which sets the title of his upcoming flick Sarkar’s first single.
The song which was released on Monday, the eve of director AR Murugadoss’ birthday, is composed by the Mozart of Madras AR Rahman.

According to the lyricist, Simtaangaaran in Chennai Tamil refers to an attractive young man who is charismatic, fearless and audacious. ‘At times we feel like looking at someone without even having an eye blink. He is our Simtaangaaran,’ the lyricist tweeted on Monday evening.

Not just this word, but the entire lyrics of this new-age foolish song is in Chennai Tamil. Vivek, who is already known for using native Madras words in his works, especially ‘Mersal Arasan’ in Vijay’s last, Mersal.

There are lines that demand a separate research on lyrical value, like ‘Balti Pakkura Darla Vudanum Palthu… World-u Moththamum Arla Vudanum Pisthu’. The song, in its literal context, glorifies the protagonist of Sarkar, who should someone who is popular across the world.
