Pa Ranjith’s production venture Paraiyerum Perumal will be out tomorrow. It features Kurumi fame Kathir in the lead. Mari Selvaraj, who has worked as an assistant to director Ram, is directing the film. Besides Kathir, the movie stars Anandhi, Yogi Babu and Lijeesh.
Says Kathir, ‘In any movie, the actor needs a space to prove them. Pariyerum perumal created such a space. As an actor, I have done my part genuinely. I hope after this, I can grow as a versatile performer in my career. There are many emotional sequences and the depth of the character needed it.
The entire movie was shot across tirunelveli and the weather there was a huge mental challenge for us. For example, for one of the songs in the movie – Naan Yaar, everyday, I just had to run for about 100 meters and come back for the montage shots. After a point, I even lost confidence too. It had so much of impact in me.’
