Vijay Antony today confirmed that his movie Thimiru Pudichavan will be out for Deepavali. We are out with the movie on Deepavali day for the sake of our director Ganesha, said actor Vijay Antony.
Speaking at a media meet in Chennai, Vijay Antony said, ‘It is the wonderful team effort that enabled us to come up with a wonderful end product. My effort is minimal. Ganesha gave his best efforts. Though my last two films did not do well at the box office, I am confident Thimiru Pidichavan would do well’.
There is no romance in the movie and I assure that I am learning to get my act my act right in romance now, he added.
On his part, Ganesha, said, ‘Vijay Antony’s wife Fathima listened to the story for seven hours. She was convinced with it. Vijay Antony made me feel at ease. He gave me all liberties. Though I am failed director, they said they had faith in me since only those who saw failure can give a hit’.
Breaking from his rules, Vijay Antony on my request arranged for a pooja to start shooting, he said and added, ‘He ensured that I get a set of talented artistes to work in the movie’. The movie is Vijay Antony’s ninth overall as hero.
