Gopi Nainar will soon be coming out with a bio-pic on tribal leader from Bihar Birsa Munda. A tribal freedom fighter, religious leader and folk hero who belonged to the Munda tribe, Birsa spearheaded an Indian tribal religious Millenarian movement that arose in the tribal belt of modern-day Bihar and Jharkhand in the late 19th century during the British Raj.

His achievements are even more remarkable for having been accomplished before the age of 25. His portrait hangs in the Central Hall of the Indian parliament and he is the only tribal leader to have been so honored.

After Aramm, Gopi Nainar is busy with an untitled film starring Jai, which revolves around football. Meanwhile, he has begun pre-production works for Birsa Munda and would be touring Bihar and Jharkhand extensively to study about Birsa Munda.
