Call it a splendid show by AIshwarya Dhanush. The debutant director has strode like a colossus doing a movie that is engaging, tearful, emotional yet pleasing.
Dhanush and Kamal Haasan's daughter Sruthi Haasan play the lead roles, living the character literally. Kola Veri song by Anirudh Ravichandran adds enough excitement.
All credit goes to the director. She has donned the hat with ease.
The movie speaks about three stages of romance between Ram (Dhanush) and Sruthi (Janani). They fall in love and romance fills the air nay the screens.
How they meet each other is realistically narrated. But soon the love story ends a psychological thriller.
Dhanush is all present in the movie. He is right there in all frames giving his best shot. Sruthi deserves accolades for pouring right emotions. Velraj's cinematography and Kola Baskar's editing give strength to the script.
Anirudh has given much more than Kolavri. Songs are superb. So are the background score.
Aishwarya's efforts bears fruit through touch of Selvaraghavn is visible all through. For those who love sombre stories with some twists, 3 will give them three cheers.
