Call it a different attempt on screen. Director Shanthakumar and actor Arulnidhi combines well to render a movie that is racy and riveting from the word go.
Three cheers to the crew for getting heir act right. It is a movie that has wafer-thin storyline but packed with emotions al through. Arulnidhi has given his best attempt making it a watchable one.
The movie is about Karunakaran (Arulnidhi), a student in Madurai. He is thrown out of his college for his erratic ways. he joins a colege in Chennai and stays at his broter's house. Soon he drecides to go to hostel as he finds the going difficult. He meets Aarthi (Iniya) and there is romance between them. Meanwhile, life takes a twist for Karunakaran in the form of a Police officer Marimuthu (John Vijay). They cross swords at each other.
Marimuthu uses his brains and makes everyone believe Karunakaran is mentally-challenged. There begins real encounter. It's cat and mouse game between them now.
Arulnidhi sizzles. He is right there all through delivering a packed performance. Iniya is ok while John Vijay excels in his role.
Mahesh Muthusamy's camera is the hallmark of the movie.
Shanthakumar's hogs all imelight and thanks to his taut screenplay, the movie strikes it rich.
