Vishal is apt for the film. His make-believe stunt sequences are the highlights of the film. He romances and he fights. His on-screen chemistry with Sameera Reddy is worth a mention.
Sameera Reddy is good as Paro, who falls for Vishal. She plays a bubbly girl. Poonam kaur too is impressive in her role. Music by Vijay Antony and there are some loud numbers shot well by Prabhudeva. Editing by Vijayan adds pep to the whole proceedings.
Presented by Sun Pictures, the movie by Prabhudeva has interesting twists and turns that one would normally see in mass themes. If his last Engeyum Kadhal made you fall in love with love, Vedi shows the other side of the filmmaker. His love for action and swift screenplay.
But at places it reminds one of the movies that we had grown-up watching.
