Director M Rajesh shares an excellent rapport with Santhanam. The two have proved their mettle in SMS and Boss Engira Baskaran. Humur sits naturally in his films. In OKOK, he seems to have sclaped an hat-trick, making it three-in-a-row.
It is fun and laughter all the way. Santhanam is backbone of the script. He hogs all limelight with his wits and humour. Udhayanidhi Stalin's maiden ventur as hero is cool. His job is simplified thanks to Santhanam's presence . Hansika is there as Udhayanidhi's ladylove and Saranya, Shayaji Shinde and Azhagam Perumal form part of the cast.
Saravanan (Udhayanidhi) and Parthasarathy are good friends. One day Sarvanan meets Meera (Hansika) and its love at first sight. As it happens, she doesn't like him. All efforts to impress her fails. Parthasarathy comes to help Saravanan. Did they end up getting together forms the climax.
Udhayanidhi seems to have done what the director wanted from him,. He is col in comedy sequences while in romance, still have to learn a lot. Hansika is bubbly and glamourous.
Santhanam as said earlier is the halmark. The encounyters between Santhanam and Udhayanidhi is hilarious.
Harris Jeyaraj's splendid musical score adds pep. Venam Machi .. and Akila .... are good.
Balasubramaniam's cinematography captures all in great hue and colour. Rajesh and Santhanam have delivered their best again. OKOK is sure to pass the muster.
