At a time when the people today live a stressed life today, fun and humour are the two words that everyone would love. Cashing in on the opportunity, debutant filmmaker Kumaran has come out with a hilarious entertainer in Mudhal Idam.
The 175th venture from AVM Productions, the film is directed by newcomer Kumaran and it stars Vidharth of Mynaa and Maluwood girl Kavitha Nair to play lead roles besides Aadukalam fame Kishore playing a key role.
With rib-tickling comedy and situational one-liners, Mudhal Idam entertains you. After an impressive outing in Mynaa, Vidharth has chosen a simple sweet and lighter script in Mudhal Idam. He fits the role well. He plays a callous youth who care a damn for serious things in life.
Kavitha Nair plays her part well. As an innocent village girl, she is impressive. Kishore and Illavarasu and the rest of the cast does show their charm on screen. The dialogues are the mainstay.
Vidharth is callous youth ( his character quite like Vimal's in Kalavani) . His ambition is to to become the sought-after name in the most wanted list in the local police station. He meets Kavitha Nair, daughter of a conductor and falls in love with her. There are two local politicians (played by Nadodigal Thirumurugan and Pughazh). The hero plays spoilsport in their ambition to become MLA. There begins all trouble. There is Kishore who plays a pivotal role setting things in order.
Sellathurai has cranked the camera. V T Vijayan handles editing while D Imman has scored the music. Kumaran has made it a hilarious film and if you forget logic, the movie would entartain you.
