Following the rousing success of last year’s thriller ‘Eeram’ produced by director Shankar, Aadhi has become a bankable hero in Tamil film industry. Veteran producer Thenappan signed hum up for ‘Ayyanaar’, hoping that Aadhi’s new-found hero status would carry the film through at the box-office. The film’s release has been getting delayed due to the problems that cropped up at the time of distributing the film.
When Thenappan looked to Aadhi for some help in selling the film off to the distributors, Aadhi wasn’t even forthcoming to get the distribution rights of any ‘areas’ in the State. Though upset with Aadhi, Thenappan is said to be more determined than ever to get the film released on Deepavali.
Meera Nandan, the beautiful heroine who debuted in last year’s ‘Vaalmeeki’, pairs up as Aadhi’s heroine in the film, which is said to be an action-packed entertainer.
