The Madras High Court has quashed two criminal intimidation cases against Sun Pictures and Sun TV Chairman Kalanithi Maran.
Justice A Arumughaswamy passed the order on petitions filed by the four seeking to call for the records relating to the proceedings in the two cases and quash the same.
While one complaint was filed by producer-director Sakthi Chidambaram over the film Kaavalan, another was filed by one Naresh Babu, over the release of Vettaikaran.
Justice A Arumughaswamy held "I am of the view that there is no proof or truth in the complaints."
