Debutant filmmaker Vinodh, a former associate of Praveen Kanth, is making his foray with Swasame. A romantic entertainer, the movie stars Sathya in the lead. Pratheesha is the heroine and the cast includes Rajkapoor, Aadhavan and Meenal.
Tajnoor has composed songs for the film and cinematography is by Mapa Anandh. Produced by Kariyakaliamman Pictures, the movie was being shot in Kashmir, Agra and Delhi among others. Speaking about the film, Vinodh, says, 'it is a romantic story but with a difference.
Generally caste and economic status will be the main hurdle for a lover-couple to get united. But in Swasame, there is a different reason being told. It is an entertainer laced with a message'. The cast and crew have given their best.
Tajnoor's songs are the highlight. Na Muthukumar's lyrics are apt, he adds. Having completed the shoot, Vinodh is planning to release the movie soon.
