Writer Rajeshkumar has made a name for himself penning hundreds of crime stories in Tamil. One of his popular stories, Siruvani is being made into a movie. Quite appropriate to the title, the movie talks about the Siruvani Dam in Coimbatore district.
Produced and directed by 'Racecourse' Raghunath, the movie revolves around a group of friends who go on a leisure trip to the dam and the spine-chilling incidents they encounter there.
Sanjay plays the lead while Aishwarya is the heroine. Anumohan, Swaminathan and 'Nellai' Siva are also in the cast.
Deva has scored the music for the film that is cranked by V A Ramalingam. Though it is a crime thriller, it has romance and humour in th right mix, says the director. The movie was shot in Andaman, Chennai and Coimbatore.
