Come 12 December, on Rajnikanth's birthday the much-awaited Sivaji in 3D will hit the screens. The movie which was released in 2D format a few years ago, was directed by Shankar featured Rajnikanth, Shriya, Suman and Vivek in the lead roles.
Music is by A R Rahman, camera by K V Anand and lyrics by Vairamuthu. At a function held in Chennai on Monday, a couple of songs and a stunt sequence from the movie was show cased at Sathyam Cinemas in 3D version.
The likes of Shankar, K V Anand, Vairamuthu, AVM Saravanan and Guhan took part in the event, which also marked the launch of Dolby Atmos quality audio facility at Sathyam Cinemas.
Guhan of AVM said there are 65 3D screens in Tamilnadu and 50 more will be converted to 3D to ensure Sivaji's release on 12 December (the Superstar's birthday).
