The annual Chennai International Film Festival will be held in Chennai from 13 December to 20 December. Interestingly the 10 th edition of this mega event will have 160 films from 57 countries screened in eight days.
Chennai International Film Festival is being organised by Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation with the support of Government of Tamilnadu and Film Fraternity. There is a competition for best Tamil films released this year and 12 movies are in the fray. The valedictory function on 20 December will be attended by Amitabh Bachchan.
The presence of Amitabh bachchan for the valedictory has added more grace and charm to the event, said Suhasini Maniratnam, one of the convenors of the show.
