M S Raju, a popular producer in Tollywood has signed Trisha to essay a woman-centric role in an upcoming film. If close sources are to be believed, the ace producer/filmmaker was in Chennai recently to narrate the script.
Buzz is that the story has been written only keeping Trisha in mind and it is a socio-fantasy film along the lines of Arundhathi.
'It is very much a contemporary subject and the actress was so impressed that she signed on the dotted line at once,' says a source.
There are two more girls in the movie and a new hero would be cast as the male lead.
