After successful entry of Kannada actor Sudeep in Tamil cinema with Naan Ee, here comes one more. Prem, a popular name in Sandalwood, is trying his luck in Tamil cinema with Chandra, directed by Roopa Iyer. Shriya plays his lady love in the film.
Says Prem, 'I am honoured to enter Tamil cinema, which I consider as birth place of cinemas. I don’t have any filmy background.'On Chandra, he says, 'the movie with a royal back ground I am very happy to be a part of it, the movie revolves around the Royal family and its traditions, and movie is a visual treat.'
