Playback singer gets big award One more honour for Malathy

Popular playback singer Malathy Lakshman was conferred the Kodumudi Kokilam K B Sundarambal award for her exemplary contribution as singer.
The award was conferred on her at the 114th birth anniversary celebrations of the veteran actress - singer K B Sundarambal, organised by Chennai Muthamizh Peravai Arakattalai at a function held in Chennai recently.
The function was presided over the advocate P R Deivasigamani. The award was conferred on Malathy Lakshman by Justice K B K Vasuki, who hail from the family of K B Sundarambal.
The event witnessed Judges, singer Manickam Vinayakam among others speaking about the contributions of K B SUndarambal to the world of music.
