KJ Yesudas has completed 50 years in the film industry. The veteran playback singer has achieved a rare feat of recording his first ever Tamil film song once again for a new film in his golden jubilee year.
Yesudas has freshly recorded his first Tamil song Neeyum Bommai Naanum Bommai from the 1964-film Bommai for the upcoming film Moodar Koodam. The film is a black comedy and musical directed by Naveen, who has assisted Chimbudevan and Pandiraj.
The film’s music director Sankaran Natarajan and Naveen were planning to remix the song and had met the wife of Veena S Balachander, who was Bommai's director and composer, to get a no objection certificate for using the song.
