Arun Vijay commenced the shoot of his next film Deal directed by Sivagnanam, commenced at Palani. The female lead Karthika Nair, comedian Sathish and Jayaprakash will take part in the shoot.
Says Arun: Lord Muruga is my favourite god. Shooting for my last three films, Malai Maalai, Maanja Velu and Thadayara Thaaka began at Palani and they all did well at the box office. In fact, after Maanja Velu, I had a vel tattooed on my back. Now, we have started work on my next film too at Palani. Although the film’s story involves locations in Chennai, Rajapalayam and Theni, we have shot the first scene at Palani'.
Arun Vijay, who is also producing the film under his own banner, Feather Touch production, has retained the young technical crew he had used in his previous film Thadayara Thakka. The script has a strong role for the heroine and Karthika is happy to bag it, sources say.
