The secret of thespian Sivaji Ganesan's success is that he kept on improving his performance. His sincerity and dedication in his profession has earned him a great name and fame, Tamilnadu Governor K Rosiah said. Speaking at the 84th birth anniversary celebrations of Sivaji Ganesan organised by the Sivaji Prabhu Charities Trust, the Governor said,
'if it is Sivaji, it is his inherent artistic quality, his punctuality, and simplicity, the versatility and creativity, his hospitality and charity and his capability that had made him a great film personality and an all time celebrity.
His demise has left a great void in film industry leaving a great vacuum in the field of character artists. Whatever role he played and acted, he turned himself as that character.
He practised and rehearsed before he came before the camera. On the occasion, he presented Dr Sivaji Ganesan Memorial Awards to filmmaker K Balachander, thavil maestro Valayapatti A R Subramaniam, K V Srinivasan, Dr T S Narayanaswami and veteran actress Kanchana.
Sivaji Ganesan's sons G Ram Kumar and Prabhu were also present on the occasion.
