Lord of Rings producer to attend FICCI conclave: Kamal

Kamal Haasan, actor, Chairman of FICCI-MEBC, said that Oscar-winning producer Barrie Osborne of the Lord of the Rings trilogy will address a session on producing a film at the FICCI Media Meet scheduled on October 16 and 17 in Chennai.
The two-day media conclave will witness noted filmmakers including Singeetam Srinvasa Rao, Rohan Sippy, Anurag Kashyap and Saurabh Shukla besides himself will be involved in screenwriting workshops at FICCI Media conclave.
Scores of national actors and media professionals including Mohanlal, Mammooty, Dileep, Jairam and Shobana will be part of the two-day event which will also commemorate 100 Years of Indian cinema.
Various sessions on modern film-making will also be held during the two days, he said.
