Actress Sonia Aggarwal is thrilled to be part of her next Palakattu Madhavan. Touted to be a hilarious family entertainer, the film has her paired opposite Vivekh.
'It’s the character that caught my attention,' says Sonia, 'I play a very sensible, head-strong and practical woman, who is tired of her husband’s careless behaviour. He sends out an ‘I’m a loser’ message, and my character wants to make a man out of him.
The film also has Sheela amma playing our grandmother. It’s quite an interesting script, and I can’t wait to start shooting.'
Directed by Chandramohan, the film is set in Palakkad. 'He was supposed to do another film with me, Poi Solladhey, but it got shelved due to some issues. But, he came back with this script, and since I found it appealing, I decided to go ahead and sign it.
We will begin shooting from December either in Palakkad or near Trichy. We’ve only finished a photoshoot for the film to finalize our looks.'
