Rajnikanth was in praise for his yesteryear heroine Sridevi after he watched her comeback film English Vinglish, directed by Gauri Shinde and produced by Balki, in Chennai at a special screening on Thursday.
The movie is about a simple, traditional homemaker played by Sridevi whose life revolves around her husband and children.
English Vinglish also features French actor Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain, and Priya Anand. The film will be released in Hindi and Tamil, and also dubbed in Telugu.
Rajnikanth heaped laurels on the cast and crew of the movie. He said Sridevi has lived the character and she will woo all hearts. He also appreciated Priya Anand for her role.
