Vijay fans will be doubly happy. The movie directed by A R Murugadoss is finally confirmed for release this Deepavali.

Though there is a title trouble and a case is still pending in the courts, Gemini Films have confirmed that Thuppaki will be released in October.

The film supossedly an action-packed venture, features Kajal Agarwal opposite Vijay. Vidyut Jamwal of Billa 2 fame plays the baddie.

A major portion of the movie was shot in Mumbai. Music is by Harris Jeyaraj and audio launch is to happen soon.
