Actress Suji Bala, who was part of films like Ayavazhi, Goripalayam and Muthukku Muthaga attempted suicide on Sunday which sent shock waves in the industry.
Her parents had arranged for her wedding with a director-actor Ravikumar to which Suji Bala was against. Hence due to domestic trouble, she chose to take the extreme step. Suji Bala is playing the female lead in Unmai, being directed by Ravikumar now.
Suji Bala was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where her condition is said to be stable now.
