Ajith is one of the very few actors who tries to experiment. Though he is a busy actor in south cinema, he chose to do a brief role in Shahrukh Khan's Asoka. After almost several years, he has ventured to do another film in Hindi Englsih Vinglish.
Director Gauri Shinde's multi-lingual English Vinglish is set for release this October. She thanked the actor for doing a cameo in the Tamil version of the movie alongside Sridevi. It may be recalled that Amitabh Bachchan did the guest role in Hindi version.
The film showcases Sridevi as a helpless housewife who is mocked at by everyone due to her not knowing English and her efforts to master the language.
Popular Tamil actress Priya Anand is also part of the film. English Vinglish releases simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on October 5.
