Vijay TV re-launches the most popular Mythological series ‘SHIVAM’
SHIVAM the popular mythological series is back on Vijay TV. The serial had been discontinued for a while but to popular demand from the viewers the serial is being re-launched from 27th August 2012, Monday to Friday at 5.30 pm.
Shivam is a grandeur spiritual drama starring Mohit Raina as Shiva, Mouni Roy as Sati, Surendra Pal as Prajapati Daksh, Shalini Kappor as Prasuti, Kumar Hegde as Nandi along with many others.
The serial showcases the story of Lord Shiva and Sati, the first incarnation of his consort Goddess Shakti respectively. The serial portrays Lord Shiva’s journey from being a celibate hermit to a householder. Sati who is the daughter of Dakshan Maharaj, a staunch Lord Vishnu devotee, is drawn towards Shiva against the wishes of her father. An extensive story from Sati’s point of view follows, showcasing how she falls in love with Lord Shiva. Written by Mihit Bhutia, Briji Mohan Pandey & -Subrat Sinha, the serial is directed by Nikhil Sinha & Manish Singh.
