A story happens in 24 hrs 'Idhu Charuvoda Dating' Tells the threats of dating culture
A lot of social and economic impacts are happening in our country through western countries. Dating is one among them. Dating is very casual in western countries but it is deadly against to our culture. But still dating culture is spreading massively in our country.
Having this dating culture as core of the movie “Idhu Charuvoda Dating” is being produced. Nandhu Cine Arts, G Selladurai is the producer of ICD. He also writes the story and screenplay of this movie as well.
Young Kerala Model Girish has been introduced as hero. Girish has done more than 20 ad films for leading brands in Kerala. Heroine Swapna a Bengali girl debuts in Tamil Industry after doing a Gujarathi film.
G.M.Kumar does an important and entirely different character in this movie. (Dialogue and Direction-S.Nagarajan) Speaking about this film Director S.Nagarajan says, “ Dating is not only an unnecessary thing to our country also it is deadly against to our culture. It is rapidly spreading in corporate companies especially in IT industries. Hero and Heroine of this movie are working in an IT company. Though heroine is not interested in dating hero forces her and takes her to Pondycherry in a weekend.
They become entangled in an anti socio gang. How they become free from them is the story of ICD.
The story happens in 24 hours, from one day morning to next morning. So the scenes are being made with speed and tense.
Dating is not our culture so as we do not have exact word for dating in our language. So we forced to use the foreign word dating in title.
Today because of dating crimes also increase. The story describes the threats and hazards because of dating and crimes related to dating and the movie would be a lesson with caution not only to youths also to parents”
First schedule of this movie has been shot in Chennai,Pondycherry ,Chidambaram and Cuddalore. Next schedule is likely to be held in Chennai.
C George composes music for lyrics of M Jayamurasu. Editing will be taken care by Sathish B Kottai. Saidai S Guna choreographs the stunt sequences while Sri Sai Kesava is the dance master of ICD. Two cinematographers N.S.Jagadesh and M.C.Kalidas capture Idhu Charuvoda Dating.
