Popular film personalities including S A Chandrasekar, Abirami Ramanarayan, P L Thenappan, Balaji Sakthivel, M S Bhaskar and Nandini JS among others atended the audio launch of Ajmal starrer Karupampetti Ajmal is paired with newcomer Aparna Bajpai.
Music for the film is by Kannan who has roped in legendary Bollywood singer Bappi Lahri to render a song 'Naughty Raja'.
'Karupampetti' is directed by Rajacholan who has assisted Shankar earlier.
Speaking on the occason, Chandrasekar said the film seems to be about a youth who travels from a small village to a city abroad and added that the poster and cut-outs happened to suggest that it was Paris.
