A yesteryear classic the film features Prabhu and Karthik and music was by Ilayaraja. Now after almost two decades, the movie is all set to be remade. Buzz is that sons of Prabhu (Vikram Prabhu who is making his debut with Kumki) and Karthik's son (Goutham acting in Mani Ratnam's Kadal) are copming together. Directing the film would be Dharani, who recently remade Dabbang in Tamil as Osthee, is directing the remake.
