Director Kathir and music composer A R Rahman always teamed up to render big musical hits in the past few years. The songs in films like zahavan, Kadhal Desam, Kadhalar Dhinam, Kadhal Virus went on to top the audiocharts. However this time, Kathir seems to have opted for a new music composer for his next venture Vidumurai Kondattam. A newcomer Prasanna is making his foray as music composer.
Sources say that since Rahman is busy with his international projects and Kochadaiyaan, he has declined to score music for Vidumuirai Kondattam.
Kathir started the shoot for Kodai Vidumurai starring Shaam in the lead role is upbeat about the movie's prospects at the box office. Kathir shot some scenes in Chennai. Buzz is that he is planning to shoot the songs in Australia, Egypt and some European countries.
Says Kathir, 'the movie would have two heroines and am planning to bring them from Bollywood now'. Nasser plays a key role, while search is on for the rest of the cast.
