Suriya, son of veteran actor Siva Kumar, started his career with Nerukku Ner and followed it up many films. He made it big with Nandha and followed it up with Pithamagan, Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Ayuadha Ezhuthu, Ghajini, Varanam Ayiram, Ayan, Singam and much-recently 7 Aum Arivu.
The actor is also busy involving himself in all philanthropic activities including running Agaram Foundation. Suriya is awaiting the release of Maatran with K V Anand followed by a sequel to his earlier hit Singham with director Hari.
