The coming together of Suriya, K V Anand and Harris Jeyaraj for Maatran after Ayan had created a lot of buzz among movie-lovers. The mnovie, produced by AGS Entertainments, went to floors a few months ago and details about the film was kept under wraps.
Now Anand has revealed the secret. Suriya is playing a conjoined twins in Maatran. Says Anand says, ' Suriya plays a conjoined twins. After I read about Siamese twins and their history, I decided to do a movie on them. I even approached Suriya. It needed state-of-the-art technology backing. Hence we waited for it and started now'.
Produced by AGS Entertainments, the movie has cinematography by Soundararajan and music by Harris Jeyaraj.
On his part Suriya says, ' in my career spanning 13 years, Maatran will be special. I was thrilled and had a new learning experience'. The teaser trailer of the movie was unveiled on Wednesday.
