Director Thiru has completed the talkie portions of his ambitious project Samar starring Vishal. Says the director, who made his debut with Theeratrha Vilayattu Pillai with Vishal.
Samar meaning a war in Tamil, says Thiru. Besides Vishal, the movie features Trisha, Sunaina, J D Chakravarthy and Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpai.
Says Thiru, 'it is a intense action thriller. There won't be mindless action scenes. There would be logic behind every sequences'.
Vishal plays a forest ranger ion Ooty. He goes to Bangkok where he encounters several troubles. He uses his brains and tries to overcome them. That makes up the movie, Thiru adds.
On J D Chakravarthy and Manoj Bajpai, he says, ' they were simply amazing to work with. Both are talented actors and they have given life and soul to the film';.
Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the film will be released in September.
