Jana Venkat, a former associate of director Parthiban, forays as independent filmmaker with Manadhil Oru Maattram. The movie's muhurrat was held in the city in which Parthiban, Aadhi and Senthil attended.
Speaking on the occasion, Venkat said, 'the film will be a youthful entertainer, and will deal with the shortcomings of the decisions that teenagers take, overcome by emotions. But, it will be narrated in an entertaining manner.'
Bangalore girl Spoorthika, who has done a couple of Kannada films, is all set to debut in Kollywood with Manadhil Oru Maattram.While newcomer Madhan will play the lead opposite Spoorthika, debutant Srisastha will be composing the scores.
