There were reports that Suriya starrer Maatran will have a song picturised at Madagascar. Directed by K V Anand, a major portion is said to have been shot in the Balkan Peninsula, mainly in countries like Croatia, Serbia, Albania and Macedonia.
The latest buzz is that Anand and cameraman Souder Rajan went to Madagascar for a forest location hunt since Anand wanted to shoot a peppy number there.
According to sources, Suriya was not too keen on going to the location as this particular virgin locale could be reached only after a long trek.
Anand returned to the city recently, where he is planning to erect a similar set and shoot the song.
