My comedy scenes with Santhanam and the naming of characters as Rajini and Kamal worked big time for Saguni, says actor Karthi.
Saguni starring Karthi, Pranitha, Santhanam. Prakashraj and Radhika was released last week. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the movie directed by debutant Shankar Dayal has music by G V Prakash.
Speaking at a success meet organised in Chennai on Monday, Karthi said, 'the success of Saguni is due to team work, marketing and promotion by Studio Green.' He added, 'the feedback that I got from the audiences is that it's a fun ride. The wide release also helped the film to click.'
On her part, Pranitha, said. ' I thank the entire work for the success. The likes of Karthi, Prakashraj, Nasser and Radhika were helpful in the sets'.
Speaking on the occasion, a popular film distributor, Kalaipuli Sekharan said, 'Saguni has proved that Karthi has a good opening. The movie has been released in over 1000 screens and the collections are encouraging'.
