The crew of G N R Kumaravelan's Haridas, which was said to be shooting near Dhanuskodi, were involved in a boat mishap late on Monday.
It is said that team, which was on its way after wrapping one segment of the shooting at one to another in a small boat when they were caught in a huge wave.
Kumaravelan said, 'a big wave apparently struck down the boat in which they were travelling. Even as they were removing the water from the boat, an even bigger wave smashed into them, as a result of which those travelling in it were thrown off.'
It was a rather lucky escape for the director and other members of the team including the hero Kishore, director Kumaravelan and Prithivraj Das, the lad who is playing a key role in the movie.
