The elections to the Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI) is finally over on Tuesday. Actor - director Ameer has emerged the winner for the top post of president winning 37 of the 63 votes. Visu, a veteran filmmaker who challenged Ameer in the elections, managed just 26 votes.
The elections to the FEFSI were keenly-contested one. Ameer is part of the wage revision committee that is holding talks with Tamil Film Producers Council.
He said the wage issue would be seriously taken by him and he would try to arrive at an amicable solution at the earliest.
