Billa 2, the Ajith-Parvathy Omanakuttan starrer will hit screens in a days.The movie is a Ajith starrer will be Man vs Self, explains its director Chakri Toleti.
The idea to make a prequel to Billa belongs to actor Ajith and Vishnuvardhan, who directed the 2007 remake. They had discussed a story about the birth of the don even as they did the re-imagined version, says Suresh Balaji, one of the producers of Billa 2.
Ajith is optimistic about the movie's fortunes at the box office, sources say.
The movie has been censored with A and the producers are keen to have UA certificate. Buzz is that the movie might be released on 29 June.
To be distributed by Aascar V Ravichandran, expectations run sky high for the movie.
