On Saturday, there was buzz in political circle as Super Star Rajnikanth chose to visit former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at his residence at Gopalapuram in Chennai.
Sources said that it was a courtesy call and since Rajnikanth was away on shoot for Kochadayan on 3 June ( MK's birthday), Rajni chose to visit him on Saturday and extended his belated birthday wish.
Karunanidhi made some anxious enquiries about Rajnikanth;s health and asked about his forthcoming release Kochadayan. Former Deputy Chief Minister and MK's son M K Stalin was also present on the occasion.
Rajnikanth's Kochadayan is directed by Soundarya Ashwain and is all set for release this Deepavali.
