By the time it was announced that Thala Ajith’s most awaited Billa 2 will hit the screens soon, there came the news that his next film will be with Vishnuvardhan whose combo rocked in Billa 2007. After completeing this film with Vishnu Ajith is said to act under the direction of Siruthai director Shiva which is to be produced by Vijaya Vahini Productions.
Now Shiva, releasing a mass entertainer film “Daruvu” in Telugu starring Ravi Teja and Tapsee in lead roles has lead to sparking a rumor stating that Ajith will be stepping into the remake of this film under Shiva’s direction.
Sources say that Shiva chose this film to remake since he considers Ravi as his lucky charm as he has already tasted grand success in K’town by remaking Ravi’s film with Karthi as the protagonist as Siruthai. It was also reported that Shiva has made changes to this script so that it suits well to the screen presence of Ajith.
Rubbing all these rumors Shiva says that this was news to him and added “I don’t know why people spread such stories! Ajith sir’s film will be a mass entertainer and it is a new script, not the remake of Daruvu.”
But he confirmed that this film has possibilities of being remade in tamil stating that “The movie has been widely appreciated and is rocking the box office collections. I have been getting calls from Chennai as well as Mumbai, for the remake of this film. But I am yet to take a call on it.”
