Amala Paul's role in Vettai has been bagged by Tollywood girl Illeana in the Hindi remake opposite Shahid kapoor.
Nanban-fame Illeana has been chosen to do the role by director Lingusamy. The yet-to-be-titled venture in Hindi will be produced by UTV Motion Pictures and will mark Lingusamy's foray as a director in Bollywood. There
is also news that the film will go on floors in the first week of May.
Ali Zafar of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan fame will play the role enacted by Madhavan in Tamil version. Ileana is alerady acting in Barfee with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra and is all set to play heroine in Akshay Kumar's Khiladi 786.
