Popular playback singer Hariharan and noted dance choregrapher-turned-actor-turned-director Prabhu Deva was one of the star attractions at the high-profile and glitzy inaugural ceremony of the Indian Premier League's fifth edition in Chennai on Tuesday.
At a function which was attended among others by the legend of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan and scores of top cricketers including maestro Sachin Tendulkar and the current Indian captain M S Dhoni, Prabhu Deva performed a medley of his popular numbers and had audiences spell-bound with his gyrations. Hariharan along with Leslie Lews ( of Colonial Cousins fame) belted out a number for their forthcoming music album.
Other stars present were the 'Tamizhan' girl Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor and the popular singer Katty Parry.
