Radhika Apte played the lead role in Rakthacharithiram, directed by RGV. Then she was seen playing an off-beat role in Prakashraj-starrer Dhoni. Now she is back to play the lead in Vettriselvan opposite Ajmal. Unlike other films of hers, she plays a bubbly girl who has a major screen space in the film.
Meanwhile she has committed to do a film for NIC Arts, a production house. Titled Deal it will be directed by R Siva Gnanam, an assistant of filmmaker R Paneerselvam. The film will have Johonny and Radhika Apte doing the lead.
The music will be composed by Thaman. Ganesh Chandra, an assistant of camera man Sakthi, will be the cinematographer. Anthony will be editing the film.
