Rajnikanth heaps laurels on S Ramakrishnan

It was perhaps the first time that one saw Rajnikanth taking part in a literary event. The Super Star of Indian cinema was at a event organised by

Uyirmai Pathipagam to felicitate writer S Ramakrishnan.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajnikanth said, ' Ramakrishnan is a genuis and writer par excellence.'

' I admire him a lot and I am a great fan of his works'.

He added, ' we both know each other since Baba days. His travelogues are magical and take us to those places'.

Among others who attended the event include writer Manushyaputhiran, professor K Gnanasambandham.
