Vijay-starrer 'Velayutham', which was released for Deepavali festivalhas completed a century. Sources say 'Velayudham' had one of the grandest openings ever for Vijay. The film directed by Jayam Raja, had Genelia and Hansika playing the
female leads.
Produced by Aascar Ravichandran, this film had music by Vijay Anthony. Velayutham was based on the Telugu movie 'Azad' released some years ago but Jayam Raja had changed certain sequences to suit the taste of Vijay fans.
Interestingly Vijay's recent release Nanban too is doing good and garnering good revenue. It is directed by Shankar.
