The wage hike for FEFSI members issue seems to have created ruffled feathers in Tamil film industry. After FEFSI announced revised wages for its members working in Tamil films, the Tamil Film Producers Council led by its president S A Chandrasekharan held an emergency meeting.
It was resolved in the meet that if FEFSI is not going to comply on wages, we will have to hire workers from outside. We do not have an agreement with FEFSI and is free to employ whoever we want. Now all eyes are on FEFSI. Lets wait and see what they do in retaliation.
